Amy Stone worked as a research assistant at Marquette University for 10 years on 4 ergonomics projects sponsored by EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute). She conducted ergonomic task analyses of electric utility field workers, participated in at least 10 site visits to utilities, collected and compiled data from site visits, and wrote text and figures for manuscripts and 5 handbooks. The handbooks were disseminated to EPRI member utilities, and she was an author on 2 peer-reviewed published articles. Ms. Stone has an extensive knowledge of physical ergonomics and knows how to apply the principles to task analysis and recommended designs. She has many years of experience working with employees of all levels. She has an affable and pleasant personality, and she treats all employees and colleagues with respect and dignity. I learned much from her, and it was a joy to work with her.
Since July 2010 Amy Stone has done an incredible job performing office ergonomics in a building with over 2,000 employees. We get a couple request a week for an ergonomic evaluation and employees really enjoy working with Amy. Recently we have seen a lot of request for sit/stand workstations and Amy is there to assist.
